The Sawyer MINI, our lightest and most flexible water filtration system, weighs only 57 grams and fits easily in the palm of your hand. This powerful system offers an absolute filtration of 0.1 micron, eliminating 99.99999% of all bacteria such as salmonella, cholera, and E.coli, as well as 99.9999% of all protozoa such as giardia and cryptosporidium, and removing 100% of microplastics.

This user-friendly system can be easily attached to the included drinking pouch, or you can use the supplied straw to drink directly from a water source. You can also connect it to the hoses of a hydration backpack or attach it to standard disposable water and soda bottles.

How it works

The Sawyer MINI is designed to filter up to 100,000 gallons of water, with its sturdy filter membranes resisting backwashing with the included syringe, which can restore filter performance by up to 98.5%. This system can be cleaned and reused almost indefinitely without the need to replace expensive filter cartridges. For optimal performance, we recommend cleaning and sanitizing the filter after each use.

The MINI offers exceptional versatility for all kinds of activities, including outdoor recreation, hiking, camping, scouting, and travel, both domestic and international. It is also an essential component for emergencies. You can easily drink water by filling the included reusable bag at a water source, screwing on the filter, and drinking directly from the filter or squeezing the water into a bottle. Additionally, you can drink directly from water sources with the included straw or screw the filter onto standard disposable water or soda bottles, or integrate it into hydration packs.

The Sawyer MINI offers superior filtration and is compatible with all standard 28mm screw-top bottles or bags, providing higher levels of filtration than other personal water filters on the market.
